Frequently Asked Questions

What are the shop hours?

We are open every day 11am to 7pm.

Do you do piercings?

No, sorry we only offer tattoos currently.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we take walk-ins every day. These are first come first served. To find out who is on walk-ins on a given day you can check our stories or call the shop.

Are your tattoos vegan?

A lot of our base equipment is vegan. However, for our vegan and animal conscious friends we have a full vegan set up available. Just be sure to let us know in advance.

Can I book an appointment over the phone?

No but you can book a consultation with the artist of your choice. Appointments are booked after a proper consultation and require a deposit. If what you want is very small you can come in as a walk-in whenever suits you, or whenever your artist of choice is doing walk-ins.

How can I get a price estimate?

Price estimates come from each artist directly. Our staff cannot give you a price quote via email or phone but they can put you in touch with an artist. There are many different factors that go into pricing a tattoo. For example, the artist needs to consider size, details, placement on the body, style and drawing time. The best way to get a price quote is to book a free consultation with the artist you would like to work with. You can do this by calling the shop, emailing us or filing out the form on our website.

Someone else offered to do my tattoo at a lower price, can you match that price?

Absolutely not. We will not haggle so please do not attempt. A tattoo is serious and is on your body for the rest of your life. You should never try to get the lowest price on a tattoo as you get what you pay for in this industry. We are trained professionals and good tattoos from professionals come at a cost. That said, we completely understand everyone has a budget and we encourage you to express your budget upfront and we will do our best to work with that. We never want to say no to anyone but we believe that people need to be understanding of our time and the hard work we put into honing our craft.

What do I bring to a consultation?

Firstly, you should make sure the area you want tattooed is able to be shown to the artist. You should bring or have ready plenty of image references to convey your idea. If you will be booking an appointment be prepared to leave a £100 deposit. We take cards and cash.

Is my deposit refundable?

No. All deposits are non-refundable. The deposit holds your appointment time and comes off of the total price of your tattoo. It also goes towards any research and drawing for your tattoo. If you absolutely need to reschedule your appointment we require 48 hours notice to move you to a new date. We can reschedule your appointment one time only. After that, you forfeit your deposit and will need to send a new one to make another appointment. This may seem harsh but getting a tattoo is a time-consuming process (especially for a larger tattoo). We simply want to make sure you are committed before we spend time on research and drawing for your tattoo.

What is the wait time for an appointment?

Each artist has a different wait time for appointments. All of our artists have specific days they do walk-ins (for smaller pieces). If you would like to know a certain artists availability please call the shop or email us.

Do you offer cover-ups or re-works?

Yes, but not every tattoo can be covered/re-worked. You will need to have a consultation with your artist to discuss your options. You should be flexible and willing to consider laser removal as coverups are always a compromise.

Can I get a tattoo if I am underage and have my parents permission?

No. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to get a tattoo in the UK. Even with your parents permission.

Can I see my tattoo design before my appointment?

It is common practice in the industry to not show clients designs until the day of the appointment and this is what you can expect with us. There are many reasons for this but mainly it is to protect the integrity of our work and prevent stealing. This is rarely an issue as with references and discussion the artist will understand what your looking for. Small changes to the design can happen on the day.

If this is a problem for you, you may want to consider getting a pre-drawn design. All of our artists have lots of pre-drawn designs available. In order to see these you will need to come into the shop as we do not send these via email.

Do you do microblading?

Yes, Sophie Depree is our cosmetic artist. She does microblading, freckles and lash lifts at the studio. To find out more about these treatments visit our Cosmetic Treatments page
